ABOUT CHELSEA ROSE
I have always been fascinated by fairies, folk tales and mythology. I grew up looking at the beautiful illustrations of artists such as Ida Rentoul Outhwaite, Cicely Mary Barker and Brian Froud. To this day I still love the fantastic, magical and whimsical.
Even though my work is digital I still sketch my pictures first, nothing quite beats the feel of a pencil and paper. Once I am happy with the piece I scan it and then "paint" it in Adobe Photoshop. I draw when I am happy and my pictures relect that.
